Abstract
Nagulich3 in 1967 collectively reported eight cases of temporal meningocele for the first time. So far as we know no further reports has been presented. But his cases only showed bony defect at the anterolateral fontanellar area without additional anomaly.
Dandy1, Robertson4 and Sosmans, etc. had described hemicranial dysplasia with pulsating exophthalmos possibly due to developmental anomaly of sphenoid bone, which is the keystone of orbital ; plate and middle S cranial fossa.
We have experienced a case ¢¥of spontaneous huge cephalohematoma covering the left frontotemporo-parietal area with non-pulsatile exophthalmos on the same side, which was accompanied with temporal meningocele and hemicranial dysplasia. In the literature reviewed, we have not seen any spontaneous cephalohematoma caused by the probable mechanism as will be described.
